Placemaking Through Innovation with Bruce Ramus (VIC) - Presented by FORM
The Event
Don't miss this exclusive event presented by FORM Building a State of Creativity at FORM Gallery for Perth Design Week, featuring special guest, Canadian-born, Melbourne-based light artist Bruce Ramus.
While having collaborated with some of the globe's biggest entertainment stars, you might have come across Bruce's stunning and dynamic work closer to home at Optus Stadium, Yagan Square, and Boorloo Bridge, which recently opened in December last year.
Join us to enjoy a keynote by Bruce, followed by a panel discussion between him, Anthony Brookfield (Principal, Landscape Architecture at Hassell), and Tabitha McMullan (CEO at FORM Building a State of Creativity), exploring what it takes to create the cities and places of tomorrow. Wrap up the evening with light refreshments, networking and exchanging ideas.

ABOUT BRUCE RAMUS (VIC)
Founder and Director of RAMUS, Canadian-born Bruce Ramus has been creating immersive light experiences for decades. As a designer and director of grand-scale, theatrical light experiences in the entertainment realm (U2, David Bowie, R.E.M), Bruce now creates compelling, dynamic site-specific artworks for the public and private sectors. His concepts combine long-term artistic vision with deep technical understanding. These artworks have begun to reshape our urban landscapes and de-materialise our cities.
ABOUT ANTHONY BROOKFIELD (WA)
Anthony is a multi-award winning industry leader and Principal, Landscape Architecture at Hassell, working across Western Australia, South East Asia, and beyond. He has more than 30 years of experience on projects including Stadium Park in his home base of Perth – a city that’s had a powerful influence on his work. Anthony works to find solutions that knit together landscape and building seamlessly. Anthony believes in design that revolves around what people truly want and need.
