Moving together: Service design & architecture in the social sector - Presented by Innovation Unit and Gresley Abas

The Event

A pecha-kucha style talk event showcasing the value of increased collaboration between the emerging fields of service and strategic design and other design disciplines. Speakers will represent a range of practice perspectives (for example, architects, service commissioners, community facilitators, and end-users). Using case studies from architecture, social service design and digital design, the goal is to make visible the challenges and opportunities for designing together for better social impact, and to show in a practical way what this can look like given the (typically) siloed nature of the work. The event will be a relaxed and social evening hosted by Innovation Unit (soon to be ThirdStory) and Gresley Abas in East Perth.
