NEW EVENT! Black Diasporas Boorloo-Perth
Black Diasporas Boorloo-Perth is an oral narrative project that documents the diversity of Boorloo-Perth’s African diasporas: 500+ stories, 10 short films made by 150+ Perthites. Building on editions in Naarm-Melbourne, Tkaronto-Toronto, and Manahatta-NYC, this archive manifests as a digital map, this community opening, and a travelling exhibition later this year.
This community project preserves narratives and challenging stereotypes by creating space for our voices to tell our own stories.
