Joel Benichou
Joel Benichou is a celebrated Australian architect, educator, and director of SPACEMRKT and Archive Office. SPACEMRKT reimagines vacant spaces, transforming them into vibrant hubs for community and creative endeavours, while Archive Office is dedicated to crafting innovative architecture that integrates cultural narratives with human-focused design. A graduate of the University of Western Australia with a Master of Architecture with Distinction, Joel began his career in Melbourne with leading studios, specialising in bespoke residential and coastal projects. He is also an educator at prominent universities, inspiring students to create contextually rich and impactful designs.
Craig Nener
Craig Nener is an architect and founding director of GROTTO Studio, specialising in residential projects. A graduate with distinction from the University of Western Australia, Craig’s experience spans acclaimed firms like Herzog & de Meuron and MORQ. His award-winning designs include Shadow House, featured on the cover of Habitus Magazine. Recently, Craig won the international Dezeen Award for House Renovation of the Year, further solidifying his reputation for excellence. With a background in drafting and international exchanges in Spain and Portugal, Craig also nurtures the next generation of architects as a tutor at UWA.
