Wednesday 26 March 2025, 7:30am-9:00am; The Mark, State Buildings, 1 Cathedral Avenue, Perth

As our net zero deadlines approach, maximising resources is crucial. Reusing and refurbishing buildings over demolition offers benefits like reduced carbon emissions, energy efficiency, cultural preservation, and sustainability. This session will explore the environmental, social, and economic drivers for adaptive reuse and refurbishment. We'll discuss circularity principles, the pros and cons of reuse, its impact on design, and how to promote its value across the supply chain.
