Drawing on submissions from local artists, the exhibition showcases a diverse collection of concept designs, offering a unique look behind the scenes of the public art procurement process.

WA’s Percent for Art Scheme and local government Public Art Policies have resulted in hundreds of commissions across our State, creating an incredible showcase of creativity. However, for every commission that we see, there are often two or three others developed that never see the light of day.

Unrealised Art recognises the enormous commitment and creativity on behalf of artists to develop these works, providing an opportunity to present some of their favourite designs.
