Presented by Perth Design Week in collaboration with climate advocate Ross Donaldson and the Australian Institute of Architects

If we are to have any chance of avoiding the potentially catastrophic impacts from climate change we must target at least 50% reduction in carbon emissions from the economy by 2030.

With cities and the construction industry contributing nearly 40% of these emissions, the imperative for the design professions and regulators to build their capacity for the designing of carbon out of our buildings is now urgent.

These two sessions will focus precisely on this capacity building with practical guides and case study examples for identifying where the carbon is and how to design it out!
