thank you
Hello
THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO HELPED US MAKE PDW 2024 POSSIBLE.
Perth Design Week is a ‘coalition of the willing’ - a group of people and organisations working with us to create the festival.
The project started as a collaboration, the idea being that there is a broad array of design based organisations with budgets for their own individual annual events. If these organisations rearranged their diaries to hold events in a particular week each year, we have the start of a Perth Design Week. And that’s exactly what happened in 2023 - and now again in 2024.
Our list of event partners this year was over 60 with 86 events across the week. Thank you to all event creators, space providers and other collaborators for helping us make Perth Design Week possible.
And importantly thank you to everyone who attended events, joining us at our design talks, exhibitions, walks and gatherings. It was amazing to see so many people enjoying Perth Design Week 2024!

PRINCIPLE PARTNERS
thank you to our 2024 principle partners oma+unifor
We were privileged this year to collaborate with renowned global architecture practice OMA and Italian based, international furniture brand, UniFor - presenting PRINCIPLES in a highly innovative installation ‘Principles Square’ at Cathedral Square.
Significantly, Perth Design Week was chosen as the first event after Milan Design Week to re-launch the collection composed by more than one hundred elements in various size, from S to XL, configurable in limitless ways.
‘Principles Square’ was a key hub at Perth Design Week this year, hosting a diverse program of events. Thank you OMA and UniFor for bringing this beautiful installation to Perth.

The WA Museum Boola Bardip again this year provided Perth Design Week with gallery space for our annual exhibition and Hackett Hall for design conversations. The WA Museum also continued its children’s program for Primary and Secondary Students, as well as a family day.
Alongside ‘Principles Square’ at Cathedral Square, the State Buildings was a hub for Perth Design Week again this year, with seven days of design conversations and gatherings at The Mark. From housing to AI, The Mark was the perfect location for a diverse range of events held throughout the day and evening.
Block Branding continued to develop our Perth Design Week brand in 2024. Block has been on board with us since the launch of the festival in October 2022 - when all we had was the logo they had created for us and an idea …
Curtin University brought their annual design exhibition into the City for Perth Design Week again, this year partnering with Central Park Perth. The exhibition showcased Architecture, Interiors, Fashion, Graphic Design, Digital Experience and more. Curtin University also hosted a celebration for Italian Design Day with the Italian Consulate.
The North Metropolitan TAFE runway show was a new event this year. Partnering with QV1 Perth, ‘Quo Vadis’ on Floor 35 was a spectacular way to close Perth Design Week 2024. North Metropolitan TAFE’s ‘SHINE’ exhibition was another highlight of the week, showcasing a broad range of design objects.
New on board as a major partner this year, Untitled Media documented our events, capturing design in motion. We look forward to sharing video content of interviews and conversations they captured in coming months.
